How Wall Metrics Work
All climbing sessions are tracked and analyzed by Clift Sensors installed behind each hold.
Handling of Data
Clift walls are connected to the cloud through a secure encrypted connection. The climbing sessions are stored in an anonymous manner and can be accessed by Clift Owners through the Clift Admin Dashboard at admin.cliftclimbing.com or through the monthly Gym Report email.
Included Metrics in Clift Gym Insights
1. Total Climbs, Total Climb Time and Top Setter
The Total Climbs metric includes all climbing sessions, regardless of mode (route, free, or game). The Total Climb Time is determined by the sum of all active climbing times, including all modes and calculated from the active times climbers spend climbing the wall(s). The Top Setter, as the name suggests, is the routesetter whose routes were climbed the most frequently during the selected period.
2. Top Routes
The Top 10 Most Climbed Routes from the selected month are displayed in a list format. The information for each route includes: the route name, the setter's name, and the grade (using either the Font or V-Scale system). Accompanying each route is a horizontal bar chart that displays the total number of climbs for that route during the selected period.
3. Grades Climbed The Grades Climbed report lists all the grades (using either the Font or V-Scale system) climbed during the selected period. Each bar represents a specific grade and displays the total number of climbs for that grade.
4. Daily and Hourly Usage Numbers
The Daily and Hourly Usage charts display the total usage time for the wall(s) over a specified time period.
5. Climb Modes
The Climb Modes chart showcases the distribution of climbing modes with a visual representation of the total number of climbs in route, free, and game modes.
6. Most Popular Setters Top 8 setters are shown while the number on each vertical bar represents the number of climbs each setter had in total.
