CLIFTOS FEATURES

Every Clift Interactive Wall runs the newest version of CliftOS, our custom-developed software. Thanks to over-the-air updates, CliftOS continuously improves, ensuring you always have the best climbing experience. We take a collaborative approach, actively gathering feedback from climbers, coaches, setters, and gym owners to shape future updates of CliftOS.

CLIMBERS' HOMESCREEN

After a climber logs in to the console, they are presented with a customized homescreen. The first two routes displayed are based on the climber's climbing history and grades, ensuring the initial options are relevant. Following these are the two most recent routes climbed.

FREESTYLE MODE

In Freestyle Mode, climbers can unleash their creativity and use all holds freely. Tapping the start button on the console turns all holds blue. As each hold is touched, it turns green.

SPRINT GAME

The Sprint Game mode provides a fun challenge for climbers. They can select between easy, medium, and hard difficulty levels. In each mode, the goal is to grip all yellow holds before the timer runs out. The wall randomly selects holds for climbers, and gripped holds turn green for easy tracking. Climbers can use any hold to reach the yellow targets.

MORE ROUTES FOLDER

This folder provides a list of all available routes on the wall, categorized into two main sections: Verified and Community. Verified routes are set by authorized setters using setter cards, while the community list features routes created by climbers. Verified users can edit and verify existing routes within the system.

MY ROUTES FOLDER

This folder showcases routes created by the logged-in profile. Every registered climber can set an unlimited number of routes. Routes can be shared with the community, appearing in the "More Routes Folder" under "Community" routes. Alternatively, climbers can keep their routes unlisted until they're ready to be published.

MIRROR MODE

For walls with a symmetrical layout, climbers can activate Mirror Mode in System Settings to climb any route mirrored.

KIDS MODE

Turning on Kids Mode unlocks a dedicated folder on both the Welcome and Home screens, specifically designed for young climbers. This screen is easily accessible without requiring cards or user profiles - simply tap the "Kids" button on the Welcome screen.

ROUTESETTING ON THE CONSOLE

Climbers and setters can set routes with ease by simply tapping selected holds on the console screen. A photo is made of every wall layout and the software cleverly maps the location of the holds based on the image.

ROUTESETTING WHILE CLIMBING

Thanks to the high-sensitivity sensors, the holds can detect if a climber has gripped them. This innovative gesture recognition allows climbers and setters to create routes by double-tapping holds to select them, and double-tapping again to deselect.

SPECIAL HOLD MARKERS

On the route creator screen climbers can select from “Normal”, “Start”, "Finish” and “Foot-Only” holds. Selecting any of the special hold markers changes the color and behavior of the given hold.
